AI Use Cases That Changed My Work Week

By Courtney Vigil, June 9

The Truth? I Was Working Smarter, Not Harder…Finally

Before I cracked my own AI use case system, my weeks felt like a blur of meetings, content drafts, kid pick-ups, Slack messages, and “where did the day go?” energy.

What changed everything wasn’t just the tools. It was how I used them.

Here are the exact AI use cases that reshaped my work week—and might just do the same for yours.

1. From Brain Dump to Post in 15 Minutes

Use Case: Instant Content Drafting
Tools: ChatGPT + Notion AI + Descript

Monday morning, I dropped a voice memo into Descript. Just a messy idea.

By lunch, that memo became:

  • A polished LinkedIn post (via Notion AI)

  • A blog intro (via ChatGPT)

  • A video script (via OpusClip prompts)

Why it worked: I wasn’t writing from scratch. I was editing AI—saving brainpower and staying in flow.

2. The 7-Minute SOP That Saved Me 3 Hours/Week

Use Case: Process Documentation
Tools: ChatGPT + Notion

I used to onboard collaborators via 4 different tools and 10 Slack messages. Now?

ChatGPT helped me convert that chaos into a clean SOP in Notion.

Steps, links, embedded Looms—all generated from a single prompt: “Turn this workflow into an onboarding doc with steps, tone: smart but casual.”

Result: Less explaining. More scaling.

3. From “I’ll Reply Later” to Inbox Zen

Use Case: Inbox Management + Drafting Replies
Tools: ChatGPT (custom GPT) + Gmail shortcuts

Every time I pushed off replying to a partnership or testimonial request, I lost momentum. Now, I paste in the email and use a custom GPT prompt: “Reply warmly, with a next step and a clear CTA. Keep it under 100 words.”

30 seconds later? It’s ready to send.

Key shift: AI made me more responsive, not robotic.

4. The Video I Didn’t Film (But Still Published)

Use Case: AI Video Creation
Tools: HeyGen + LTX Studio

Wednesday hit, and I had zero time to film. I dropped my blog summary into HeyGen and LTX Studio turned it into a studio-style short. Added captions, uploaded to YouTube + Instagram in 12 minutes.

Before: I’d have skipped it.
After: I shipped anyway—with polish.

5. Client Quiz That Writes Itself

Use Case: Lead Gen + Personalization
Tools: Typeform + ChatGPT

I wanted to build a lead magnet quiz. Not fluff—something that felt smart and guided clients to the right AI product.

I asked ChatGPT: “Create 5 smart branching questions for someone choosing between our $25 course, a workshop, or 1:1 coaching.”

It built the structure, suggested answers, and even wrote the CTA copy. Game-changer.

6. Week Wrap-Up: Built by AI

Use Case: Content Repurposing
Tools: OpusClip + Notion AI + Canva

Friday’s content was already there: TikToks, testimonials, Slack feedback.

I asked Notion AI: “Summarize key wins from this week’s posts, turn them into a carousel script.”

I used OpusClip to stitch together video highlights, and Canva to wrap it into a post.
Posted Friday at 3PM. Weekend content?
